In this 8 week course students will learn to create plaster, silicon, and clay molds used for casting pottery. Students will learn how to make slip and the proper application and use of this material. Students will learn, one part and two part molds. Techniques being taught during the course include; casting, molding making, staining slip, nerikomi, and carving.

In Addition to class time students are also allowed to work during open studio time through out the week which is 30 hours a week. Your instructor will give you the time at you first class meeting.
